Indoors or outdoors, you’ll be spoilt for choice! The Sunêlia Les Places Dorées campsite is proud to introduce... its gym. Enjoy free access to the fitness room, with exercise bikes, cross-trainers, treadmills and a training area. Did someone say “summer body”? This is the perfect place to hone it! Come and work up a sweat for an hour or so, before indulging in a long shower and – why not! – a trip to the campsite spa. A multi-purpose sports pitch and boules pitch complete the campsite’s sports facilities, which are free and open to all guests. 

Want to get your active mode on? Football, basketball and table tennis tournaments, aquagym sessions to the rhythm of music or water polo: Throughout your holiday, you’ll have the chance to try out a whole range of sporting activities on the campsite. And if that’s not enough, why not drop by reception and ask the team for some ideas and recommendations for activities off site, in the beautiful Vendée countryside. Cycling, running, land sailing... From beaches to marshes, the Vendée is simply teeming with stunning spots.  

When you arrive at the beach, just 15 minutes from the Sunêlia Les Places Dorées campsite, you’ll be amazed by the multitude of colourful canvases in the sky. Looks like fun? Then why not try your hand at kitesurfing, too? Or perhaps you’d prefer to have some family fun paddling boarding, on one big paddle board that fits everyone on? A number of water sports centres are on hand to assist you and help you discover the wonderful world of water sports. Young and old alike will have endless fun taking on the wind and the waves along the long beaches of Saint-Jean-de-Monts.
